offer letter上写明给4年的fellowship for doctoral program.
I-20表格和certificate of admission上却写是3年的Master
本来以为出错了，但学校解释没错，录取程序规定任何international graduate都必须先录取为MA，3年后转为PhD，所以在I-20表格上写的是MA。
录取我的系主任的回信，仍然明明白白的说我是PhD
Your goals for our Program were definitely the Ph.D. and that you were accepted and offeredd a four-year fellowship specifically for the Ph.D.
但是admission office的回信却不太一样：
You have been admitted as a masters student but on the doctoral track，therefore it is correct for your I-20 and Admit Certificate to reflect MA. Once you get near the completion of your MA, you will need to approach the Dean's office to do paperwork to continue your studies as a doctorate student. At that time they will contact our International Office and have them prepare a new I-20 to reflect your doctorate studies.
但是事实情况就是，I-20上的MA对我的签证很不利，我在国内已经有硕士学位，我不是变成申请同等学历了吗！
有没有人遇到相似的情况啊？我应该怎么对付VO? |
