我今天收到Carleton 的email，但是不知道是什么意思，

The Admissions Committee is recommending to the Dean of the Faculty of
Graduate Studies and Research your admission to our Qualifying Year of the
MA Program in Economics beginning Fall 2002.  You should receive a decision
within the next few weeks following the Dean's evaluation of your
application.
Unfortunately, QY students are not eligible for financial awards.
In the meantime, let me know if I can be of assistance.
