This afternoon, i went to Campus Cave, a internet cafe in york
university, to play some computer game. As i joined a game, i found
that someone was using "Chinaman" as his user name! It's so
insulting to our folks! therefore, i sent few message urging him to
change his user name. but he didn't even reply.
so i stoped gaming and started looking who the hell that guy was.
what surprised me was, he was a person from HongKong, he is a
Chinese! i patted him shouder and asked him to change it. but he
said "i can use any name i want. it's my freedom." what a shame!
and i said, i don't care you look down on yourself. but if you insult
our whole country, whole entity, it's my business! finally, after a
long arguing, he changed his name; even his friends didn't help him
in that arguement. i won.
from this incident, i found that we have to fight to protect our
dignity. otherwise, nodoby will do it for you. we do it for
