NATTI考试在移民新政策下面是否不起作用？

我的意思是说非翻译专业的学生，因为移民局的网站指出两年学习的科目必须和提名职业相关。请问NATTI考试是用来加分还是作为职业提名的手段呢？

For applicants seeking to meet the two year study rule, all study must be relevant to the nominated occupation of the applicant and the spouse (if claiming points for spouse skills), except where the application is subject to the transitional arrangements or was lodged on or before 31 March 2003.
