Job Description:

Ø     Follows detailed worksheet for eachcabin cleaning

Ø      Change bedding and make bedsas directed.

Ø      Strippingthe Room

Ø      Stock cabin food supplies(coffee, tea, sugar, etc.) as needed.

Ø      Replenish supplies such asToilet roll, Tissue box, Kitchen cutlery

Ø      Clean Reception and Roomfloors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.

Ø      Clean Bathroom. Toilet andKitchen.

Ø      Gather and empty trash.

Ø      Carry linens, towels, toiletitems, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts or by hand as needed.

Ø      Deliver any items requested by guests to cabins.

Ø      Notify supervisor concerningthe need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.

A commercial housekeeper needs:

Ø     to enjoy practical work

Ø     to enjoy cleaning

Ø     to be able to work without supervision

Ø     to be methodical

Ø     to be honest and reliable

Ø     to be fit to bend, stand and liftfurniture.

A commercial housekeeper would normally work 2-3 days per week,andthey may need to be work on the weekend if required.
