Situated in the heart of the AdelaideCBD, Café Di Mare is an established part of Adelaide food culture and therestaurant scene. At Café Di Mare, we offer a la carte dining for breakfast,lunch and dinner. The extensive variety of cuisine using local produce coupledwith a relaxing atmosphere will be sure to cater for all tastes.

Title: HEAD COOK


Job type: Full Time Salary Position


Wage package: $25-$45 Per Hour+Superannuation (negotiable if with more than 5 years working experience)


Applicants must possess the following attributes:
1. Highly qualified withdiploma or associate degree in commercial cookery;
2. Be a professional whoconstantly strives to produce the best;
3. Work well in a team environment and be able to lead;
4. Have proven experience in a fast pacedcafe/restaurant environment;
5. Have excellent organisational and communicationskills;
6. Be able to develop menus and be creative intaste and display;
7. Flexible to grow with the company
8. Super friendly, energetic & down to earth


The You:
must be available towork nights,weekends and public holidays, and be available for a mixshifts if needed.


Duties andresponsibilities
1. Cook to order breakfasts, lunches anddinners at Di Mare,ensure that all dishes are prepared consistently &according to the standard recipe;
2.Produce and maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation;
3.Plan Di Mare menus and ensure food standards, procedures and processes arefollowed,ensure food quality and safety at Di Mare;
4.Develop collaborative relationships with Di Mare manager toprovide quality food and prompt service to our customers;
5.Maintain good communication between all areas of the restaurant;
6.Organise and set up the kitchen as effectively as possible to increase speed andmaximise productivity at Di Mare;
7. Order, receive and account for allsupplies and deliveries;
8. Perform regular stock takes;
9. Achieve desired food costs as peragreed percentages;
