2 Exploration Geologists Must be Fluent in English & Mandarin
Duties/Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Exploration Manager you will be responsible for the following:

• Target Generation: Developing targets, planning and supervision of drilling programs
• Execution of safe, reliable and effective exploration projects in order to discover large, long-life and high-quality market significant deposits
• Ensuring accurate geological interpretation, logging and recording of all data
• Ensure sample quality is maintained
• Planning and Supervising of two exploration programs including logistics and drill hole positioning
• Ore resource modeling
• Surface mapping, sampling and surveys
• Drill rig management
• Supervision of a small team of field assistants and Juniors
• Commitment HS&E policies
• Roster: 15:6 - Travelling in Company time. FIFO from Brisbane Airport then driving to site. Working 13 days straight and then travelling back in company time during the Dry Season.
  

Ideal Candidates:

• Tertiary Qualified with a BSc in Geology with 2- 5 years extensive experience in target generation and coal exploration
• Mine production experience in either open cut or underground would be desirable as this is the direction to company in moving towards
• Must be Fluent in English and Mandarin
• Experience supervising RC rigs and logging of drill chips
• Proficient in MapInfo, Micromine and Surpac
