一般在澳洲境内申请婚姻类移民是采用820临时居留签证，生活满2年后转801永居签证。当然，如果申请人同居时间超过3年，甚至可以跳过临局签证，直接申请永居。申请的过程中，签证官会审查双方方的经济能力（如果收入低，移民局需要提供AOS经济担保人）、健康情况、人品情况等。
目前澳大利亚移民部婚姻配偶移民申请审理的服务标准   
1.        75%的申请6个月完成
2.        每周进行相关管理
3.        一般来说，如果服务标准达到了，移民局会查看手上案子的工作量，哪些是不完整申请，哪些是搁置的申请
  
审理地点的安排   :
1.        NSW州移民局处理第1阶段申请
2.        ACT堪培拉审理孩子和其他家庭签证
3.        海外的配偶签证的第2阶段由墨尔本和堪培拉一起处理 （已经开始在悉尼NSW处理的，继续由NSW移民局处理）
4.        涉及到家庭暴力的在审理案例，仍旧由第一期签证的审理中心处理，如果完成了第一期审理才出现的家庭暴力指控，由墨尔本同意审理
  
常见的因不完整材料导致延期的申请的共性

1. 健康体检结果和人品表格不完整。Health & character not complete: files will only be allocated to case officers once health & character checks are finalized (a part from any security clearances).
2. 80号表格不完整； Incomplete Form 80s
1. 雇用历史不完整，比如应该包括工作时间；Employment history –e.g. must indicate periods of unemployment
2. 教育背景； Educational history.
3. 过去10年的地址； Residential addresses last 10 years
4. 表格里面不可以填写“请参考我的简历”，因为表格也要由外部其他政府机构查看；Not sufficient to say “see CV” as the form is for external agencies
5. 新的80号表格是老的80和1221表的合体，所以信息更加全面；Form 80 is a merger of old 80 and 1221 so it’s much more extensive than previously.
面试问题： 现在澳洲移民局签证官很重视婚姻的真实性，如果签证官认为有疑虑，就会安排面试.

对于家庭暴力问题的妻配偶签证申请，只要有孩子且是澳洲公民，移民局会马上完成审理，而不需要看家庭暴力的申述

很多留学生朋友是通过事实婚姻/同居关系来申请的，千万要注意除了4大因素外（Social Committment, Mutaul committment, Household committment, Financial committment），要注意一下几点
1.        12个月同居时间，需要提前向签证官通过同居关系的证据  
2.        求爱期间的时间不算同居
3.        同出旅游时间不算
4.        分开一段时间也允许，只要可以提供经常联系的记录，如SKYPE，电话账单（注意电话卡不行）
5.        社交网站、DVD等无用，因为移民官不允许上facebook这样的社交网站，移民部系统防火墙封锁了

你真的好快。我只给了CHECKLIST上面资料。照片都没有。他们在LISTS上不要给呀。
签证官就给我发了封邮件说过桥签下来，再没理我了我。我也不知道。
我朋友年初办的，她说她的得11月份下来。

我的递上去不到一个月820就下来了，挺快的。就是3000多的那个。资料就是checklist上面的那些东西，最好是把资料准备齐了，一次性递交上去，这样不浪费时间。照片什么的可以多交点上去，最好是各个阶段的都有，如果有婚礼照片就更好了，还有就是跟两边家长的合照也比较有用哈。我还提供了最近几个月的通话记录。最后你把准备递交的资料好好整理下，我当时是把我自己的资料，我老公的资料，两个人共同的资料，witness的资料分成这几部分，然后附加了一个目录这个样子递上去的，移民官看起来也方便点。希望能帮到你~

你递签扣签证费后，移民局会发一个Bridging visa函给你，只有你澳洲现在的签证过期后，你的过桥签证才生效的。
309签证目前审理周期要1年，820境内的签证目前审理8个月内下签的。
