本人目前在一家oz的会计公司，希望把自己毕业后这2年的找工经验和大家分享一下。

我们公司目前有一个培训项目，此贴中不会涉及这个信息，以防止有些朋友认为我是在做广告。通过公司的这个项目，我接触到了很多刚刚毕业的学生来学习，这部分同学一般都是没有任何工作经验，或者只有餐厅打工的工作经验（其实我还不如大家我上学的时候连餐厅的没有工作过）。 刚毕业的学生一般都认为自己可以找到一家大公司，或者一个会计事务所可以很快的开始自己的CPA学习。但是，很诚恳地说这种机会一般只属于5%的毕业生。如果你的学习成绩很好，而且英文交流没有任何问题的学生，这种机会有可能会发生在你的身上。

但是总的来说95%的学生在澳大利亚是没有这样的工作机会的。于是大家就被放到了人才市场上，我也是其中的一个。 200份简历地出去，收到了150个回信，150封回信里有着共同的一个字-"unforturnately"。 发现没有工作经验根本不行，于是自己Make Up 一些，找个朋友作Referee。继续发简历，终于有了面试机会。

如果是大公司，一般面试的是JOB AGENT。比如说，天底下人都知道BHP 和BEA在招 ACCOUNTS PAYABLE，但是首先面试你的是HAYS or ROBERT WALTERS. 等你到了地方，RECEPTIONIST 会很专业的接待你，然后给你一大队表格，表格上面除了你的个人信息外，还会很明确地让选出你究竟会用哪种software，会做那部分工作，PAYABLE, RECEIVABLE, PAYROLL, BANK RECON.... 然后RECEPTIONIST 会把你带到一个小的computer lap里让你做一个test，就是测出你究竟一个小时能打多少个字（数字，字母，大小写 mix up），一般的要求是8000个。我曾经问过一个DATA ENTRY， 她告诉我她可以打10，000个，她做了20年。 你肯定会问，我是ACCOUNTS PAYABLE啊，怎么要做data entry？ 答案是，你在大公司工作，你就做whole process的一部分，你只需要输入DATA就够了，不用你来做其他任任何事。一个大公司的ACCOUTANT就是从这种小职位做起，20年后，她/他会成为这部门的MANAGER.
