we are currently seeking an enthusiastic and suitably experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Officer to join our growing team in Southside of Brisbane. This position is full-time and would ideally suit someone with advanced skills in Excel and previous experience with Xero accounting software.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Conduct weekly reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
- Journal Entries in Xero
- Processing of weekly receipt bank and attention to general payment enquiries
- Invoicing and aged receivables management
- Creditor invoice processing
- Inter-company transaction processing
- Ad-hoc accounting duties as required
- Liaison with Accountants and Management to deliver timely and accurate results
- Must be able to perform data input activities quickly and accurately
Skills & Requirements:
- At least 3 years bookkeeping experience in a similar role
- Experience with Xero
- Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite (predominantly Excel)
- Excellent with numbers
- Able to work unsupervised
- Able to multitask and prioritise workloads
- PR or Australia Citizen
Preferred:
- Live in the southside of Brisbane
- English Fluently
- Have experience in supermarket
