It is with great sadness we inform you of the death of Mr. Bo Gao, a
graduate student in the Division of Meteorology & Physical
Oceanography. Mr. Gao collapsed and died of apparent natural cause
on his way to catch a bus at the Brickell Metrorail Station around
9:30 on Jan 10, 2003. His wife Ms. Hui Guo survives Mr. Gao.

Mr. Bo Gao was born in Oct 1970 in Sichun Province, P.R. China. Mr.
Gao was 32 years old.
Mr. Gao earned his bachelor degree at Nanjing Meteorological College
in July 1993. Mr. Gao earned his master degree at Nanjing University
in July 1996 at Department of Atmospheric Sciences. Then he had
worked at China State Administration of Meteorology for about 5
years (1996-2001).
Mr. Gao was admitted to the Marine School of University of Miami,
and he came to the USA in August 2001. Mr. Gao was a PhD Candidate.
Mr. Gao's wife, Ms. Hui Guo, came to Miami in March 2002. The widow,
Ms. Hui Guo, was born in Oct 1979.
