Thanks for your interest in pursuing research studies with me. The problem of CSCL pedagogy is a very important and yet an under-research field. We have been doing some studies in this area, mainly within the theoretical framework of knowledge building (building on the work of Scardamalia and Bereiter). So this is an area that I am potentially interested in supervising.
If you are interested in studying for a PhD at HKU, you need to go through the formal application process as described in http://web.edu.hku.hk/research_rps.php?mphil_phd_admissions. In particular, you need to submit a research proposal for your application, which I am happy to give some feedback to. Please go through the info on the website.
