So I plan to apply to american universities.
Can any body tell me how to search for suitable programmes? I think there must be some websites where i can search through all PhD programmes available in 2006/07, and scholarships as well.
And I need to take GRE test in London too. Could anybody tell me where I can download GRE test items/papers so that I can practice? I did some paper practice long time ago, in 2001. but have forgotten now.
Another question, is it possible to apply for american visa here in Britain? Or it is easier to do that back in China? I am not in full education now and do not have a 'proper' job neither, is it difficult for me to get the visa? pople always say 'F-1' 'J-1' etc, what are they?
