Visa for Study Candidates
If you are not able to make contact with German universities while you are in your home
country, there is another way in which you can enter Germany without university admittance or
a formal application. For this you require a so-called Studienbewerber-Sichtvermerk (study
applicant visa) with which you can stay in Germany for three months in order to obtain
information on study opportunities. This residence permit can be transformed into a student visa
without the necessity of leaving the country. The necessary documents are the same as with a
student visa with the exception of the notice of admittance. |
