My study permit and entry Visa will both expire on August 30th this year. I'm now taking only one prerequisite course for my Master of Accountancy program (MAcc). There's 4 prerequisites all together i should take before I go to MAcc. I took 3 in fall term last year 2002 and one this winter term. I delayed MAcc till January 2004.
The MAcc only begins every January.I applied to take 2 electives of MAcc in advance in fall term this year 2003 and was approved.Since I have no courses in spring term, I plan to go back China in the beginning of May and come back at the beginning of August.
The question is whether I can come into Canada at the Vancouver airport when I come back at the begining of August? I was told by International Service of my University I can. But I want to get a confirmation. Because the web page of CIC (Citizenship and Immigration of Canada) said I should leave at least 6 weeks before the expiration day of my Visa to renew my study permit.
