据调查，时髦的老祖母们，一直能跟上孙儿女们的时代，三分之二的人会看流行电视节目，四分之一的人有他们自己的FACEBOOK账号

在很多孩子眼中，拜访祖父母是更有趣的一件事  -- 57%的家长承认，在祖父母那里，家规少得多。

20世纪福克斯公司曾做过调查，发现澳洲的祖父母们，比电影Parental Guidance 里的祖父母们，请客款待孙儿女的几率要高出5倍。

住在Kellyville 的Rochelle McDonald 说，她的四个孩子崇拜他们的外婆Pam.
