In 2007, I paid the landlord  168,000.00 for taking over the Chinese restaurant in Burleigh Heads from him. Since the first 5 years until 2012, I paid the rent every month on time. In Feb 2012, the roof of the building leaking extremely heavily when it's raining, the landlord didn't fix that for me but just delay and ignore while I kept complaining...PLUS, the landlord raised up the rent every year to unreasonable rate on the basis of the low market...PLUS, the landlord's dauthter, who is the accountant, over charged the outgoing for couple years...PLUS, the landlord charged me for his duty of the building twice...
What is the serious matter happened later on was the landlord didn't back me the bond,14,000.00 because i decided not sign the further 5 years with him any more, plus 5000, the part of the monthly rent 4 AUgest, just after2 days the landlord received $5000 from me, he changed the lock to stop my business... and there had more worse, the landlord asked money from me to fix his old buidling for the doors, the carpet, the wall, the ceiling, everything...the landlord want me pay his bill renewing his very old buidling...Can u believe that??? the Chinese landlord, doing such disgusting treatment on Chinese, especially I paid him 168,000.00 for the business, I paid him rent from $6700 to $8000 monthly for 5 years...in such small Gold Coast!!!
The issue already over the money, I am capable of making money to cover all the lost, but how could the landlord to cover his personality...praying for his family, his generation, I am wishing God not to give the penalty on his kids any more, their kids are innocent...I am looking for a good commercial solictor to sue the landlord, hope he could learn the lesson from the story!
