!悉尼七号台DJ讲错话,遭到社会抨击!

AN embarrassed Seven Network has apologised unreservedly for Sonia Kruger's distasteful comments to musical director Chong Lim on the television show Dancing With The Stars.
The network insisted the presenter's remarks were not intended to be racist, especially as the pair enjoyed a long-standing friendship.

The network received numerous complaints after Kruger made the derogatory comments about a "sweatshop of illegal immigrants'' slaving away on her wardrobe for the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
"Let's just say there's a sweatshop full of illegal immigrants working on them right now,'' Kruger said before referring to Lim, the show's Malaysian-born musical director.
"How's the family, Chong? All right?''
A Seven spokeswoman said last week: "In this instance, it's worth remembering that Sonia and Chong have been working together over eight series of Dancing With The Stars.
"They're very good friends and enjoy each other's company very much.
"However, to any viewer who took offence, without any reservation, we apologise.''
Kruger's comments were made during the celebrity reality show earlier this month after co-host Daniel MacPherson asked about the array of outfits she would require for her four-day stint covering the racing festival.
Disgusted viewers lashed out on Internet message boards, describing the presenter's comments as racist and inappropriate.
Kruger, also a breakfast radio host on Mix 106.5, later said she had no regrets about the remarks.
"I certainly didn't say anything with any intention for it to be racist,'' she said.
The Seven spokeswoman said the network had taken the matter seriously.
"Every letter or call we receive from a viewer is taken very seriously,'' she said.
"The viewer's comment is a great resource to us.
"In this case, the team who manage these issues have examined the comments and, in the honest and genuine tone of the conversation between Sonia and Chong, decided no offence was intended.''
