寻求懂行的人-怎样区分gas是一家还是多家用的，现只有我个人付gas费（问题已解决了）

我们是一个building的两户人家，但是只有一个gas表，我家的热水用的是gas ，自然这唯一的一个gas费就一直由我来pay,但是费用很高，而另一家没有申请过gas,并且说热水是用电提供的，有懂行的朋友给点意见吗，我将如何鉴定他们使用的热水是和我家通用的一个gas 系统。我们都没有cooking ,就只有热水是gas还有什么会用到gas吗。
