签证有效时间比学年多出一年多，如果选择休学一年，不必担心需要续签的问题。 按规定，一般休学是生效后28天需离境，就不知道移民局那边能否商量？针对孕妇能否宽限？我看澳洲其他高校都有相关政策，孕妇可以选择留在澳洲。主要是所学专业对身体的毒害性大，所以希望能够保胎为上，但是因为伴侣辞去国内工作已经在澳洲找寻到一份兼职，目前如果因为休学，被要求出境回国，两人的经济收入来源就等于零了。
学校方面可以休假，但是签证问题需要自己跟移民局协商，所以请好心人帮忙指点，比如移民局电话？担心英文表述不当，能否找翻译？

可以申请半年的休学，其中三个月有奖学金、另三个月只发一半奖学金。先跟导师商量好，然后你去跟学校研究生院联系，填一些表格，学校会替你联系政府相关部门。至少GU是这样的流程。

O(∩_∩)O谢谢您呀，这个情况我已经了解到了，也向移民局方面咨询了，的确六个月的休息他们一般都不会要求离境的，但是他们对于我这种想要申请一年休息的情况也给出了建议，他们让我给student.integrity.nsw@immi.gov.au 发邮件。
希望能够争取到合法待一年，也为后来的澳洲留学生做个example.
