HI, sorry to ask you more questions about the reference letters for my application for PhD:
1. should the reference letter be addressed to a specific department or an university, or just addressed as: To Whom It May Conern?
2. should the letter indicating what subject i want to specialise, or just write as: phd in economics, phd in socialogy?
3. i am applying for several universities, so should the reference corresponded to each univeriversity seperately? or just use the same one, because i am asking my professors to write, i am afraid if i can ask them to write so many different reference letters.
4. if not specified in the application guidelines, shall i ask the professor to seal and sign on the envolope? or i can seal them without the professor's signiture on it?
5. if you have any suggestions or advices, please tell me, thanks!!!
