因为来美国上了几个月的语言课，感觉作文提高很快，我就一些写作经验分享给大家。
有几点需要大家注意：
1.美国人想法很直，一切长句最好改成简单句方便阅读。
2.被动语态不益多用，除非非常专业的科学性文章，不得不用。
3.有些难的单词美国人都不认识，如果想当专业的单词必须有Citation，如果没有这边视为抄袭。
4.Logic是个大问题，中国和美国的逻辑有点不同，中国人喜欢铺垫， 美国人喜欢直接的表述。
5.如果自己拿不准的词汇、词组之类的， 可以Google一下看看有没有文章这样用过，没有的话，当然就是用错了。

Essay Writing Structure
INTRO: Opening Sentence (hook)
----- make a general claim, ask question, quote (all these related to topic)
Background information (Couple of transition)
------ provide important/key info and narrow down the topic
Thesis statement (announce your point) --- Controlling idea and specifies rhetorical mode (Styles)
BODY Paragraph 1: Topic sentence + main controlling idea
Supporting details (Transition is important)
------ Example, Statistic, Quotes, States, Story, Fact…. (Use your critical thinking)
Concluding Sentence
BODY Paragraph 2: Same
BODY Paragraph 3: Same
CONCLUSION： Summarize the essay, restate the thesis
