Job Production Compounding Operator
Responsible To Production Manager
Qualifications & Experience No formal qualifications required; desirable, year 10 School
Certificate, TAFE Plant Operator's Certificate; Trainee given on the job training, 2 years+ experience in similar environment with cosmetic, pharmaceutical or food industry background.
Nature of Job (1) To manufacture, following specified procedures, skin, hair
and therapeutic products.
(2) Weighing out materials accurately in accordance with a prescribed batch sheet.
(3) Carefully follow procedures in accordance with a prescribed batch sheet.
(4) Operate equipment in accordance with manufacturer's operating instructions and advise relevant staff if equipment requires maintenance.
(5) Understand and be conversant with SOP's relevant to the
performance of duties. E.g. cleaning and sanitisation of equipment.
(6) Record information relating to duties.
(7) Follow production schedules as directed by Senior Operator.
