Only very few old universities teach LLM students by seminars (less 25 students for each seminar. normally the number is 15. No more than 25 students are allowed to attend one seminar). These old universities include, oxford, cambridge, glasgow, and bristol.
However, other universities teach LLM students by lectures. Thus, there is no number limit for each class. In theory, one lecturer can teach 100 students at one class. These universities include Mancehester, Sherfield.
This is my personal experiences. Obviously, seminars are better than lectures because you have enough time to discuss or even argue with your teachers during the class. |
