樓主不應該找律師解決,應該找個專業的會計師幫你去ATO 解釋...之前我實習的時候都有個客人跟你情況類似,是要會計師打去ATO 跟你解釋的.

这个情况牵涉到欺诈行骗。我估计可能你的前雇主，拿了你的税号后，然后大量举报你的收入。而导致到税局要求你缴交税费。
我提议找一位资深的律师，然后去信税局，要求税局将之前你的前雇主帮你填报的所有收入税费拿出来看。再对证确认是否你的正式收入。
如果你发觉有任何欺诈行骗的话，你应该委托一位律师去信税局投诉科。这样才能解决事情，否则，税局会不分青红皂白，会按照你前雇主报的收入要求你交相应的税。
再者，基于最近联邦政府收支不平衡，类似个案非常普遍的。希望你尽快处理这个纠纷，不然你的签证也会被影响的。
