澳洲国产车销售萎缩 2013年下滑幅度达15%

去年澳洲国产车销售下滑幅度创下15%的纪录,因为福特汽车公司和通用汽车公司的通用霍顿公司宣布,由于进口车日益增加,计划停止在澳洲生产汽车。

根据澳洲联邦汽车工业商会最近公布的数据,上述2家美国汽车厂和丰田汽车公司去年总共销售11.851万辆在澳洲生产的汽车,相较之下,前1年是13.9796万辆,2006年是20.1623万辆。

澳洲的汽车工业已有百年历史,包括150家供应商,这些供应商估计雇用了4.2万人,但现在汽车工业将面临灭绝,因为澳元强势且关税很低,造成汽车制造商出走。自2006年以来澳洲制造的汽车销售已下滑41%。

Autoteam Australia Consulting CEO雷莫最近在墨尔本接受电访时说:“我们今天可能是世界最贵的制造业国家,每一个人都去找成本较低廉的外包国家。”

通用霍顿董事总经理戴维鲁去年12月11日宣布该公司将在2017年停止生产汽车,并且说,在澳洲制造汽车已经无法维持。

集中在消费者比较不青睐的大型轿车款式也影响澳洲的汽车生产。2003年占澳洲汽车销售1/6的福特的Falcon和通用的Commodore车款,去年却减少到只占1/30。（中华工商时报）
