h1b成都返签,vo收走简历后说要等两三周,是被check了？

h1b第一次回国返签，职位是普通码工，vo看了i797后问了下工作背景和职位信息后，收走了我的resume和offer letter，然后给我一张白色的等待取件的条，说签证通过了，但是要等2-3周。
不知道我这种情况，收走了材料还要两三周的话，算不算被check了呢？ 我临走前还特意问了自己是不是通过了，他说是，但为什么还要等这么久呢？ 只给我一张白条算正常么？
这次计划年底就要回美国，不知道这两三周的处理时间来不来得及啊。希望大家能指点下，多谢！！
UPDATE:
回到家用大使馆的网站查了application status，显示状态为Administrative Processing, 这是不是确定被check了？
