I  refer  to  your  application  for  a  visa  under one of the points
test
classes.
As  a  result  of difficulties with the verification of documents from
some
countries,   DIMIA   has   taken   additional   measures  to  ensure
their
authenticity.   Your  application  has  been  identified as one which
falls
within  this group.  Therefore all persons in your application for whom
you
have  lodged  evidence  that  a 'relevant assessing authority' has
assessed
their skills, are now required to contact the international/foreign
affairs
office  of  their  university  or the student records/administration
office
(whichever  is appropriate) and request that copies of their
degree/diploma
documents  (for  example, degree certificate or certificate of
graduation),
academic  transcript and English translations, be sent in a sealed
envelope
directly to:
      Adelaide Skilled Processing Centre (ASPC)
Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous
Affairs
      GPO Box 1638
      ADELAIDE  SA  5001
      Australia
Your  visa  application  cannot  be  finalised  until  these  documents
are
received by this office.
Please ensure that the institution sending the documents to the ASPC
quotes
the  file  number  at  the  top  of  this letter and please quote it in
any
further correspondence with this office.
Section  62  (1)  and (2) of the Migration Act states if an applicant
for a
visa   is   invited  to  give  additional  information  or  to  comment
on
information,  and  does not give the information or comment before the
time
for  giving it has passed, the Minister (or a delegate of the Minister)
may
make  a  decision  to  grant or refuse to grant the visa without taking
any
action to obtain the additional information.
Migration Regulations provide a time limit of 49 days (28 days plus 21
days
to allow time for postage) for you to respond, from the date of this
letter
.  If  I have not heard from you by that time, I may proceed to decide
this
application on the basis of the available information.
Acknowledgement Letter
I am writing regarding your application, which was received in our
office
on
Skilled - Independent Migration, visa class BN, subclass 136
Skill Matching, visa class BR, subclass 134
Skilled - Australian Sponsored visa class BQ, subclass 138
Skilled - Designated Area Sponsored visa class BQ, subclass 139
Your file reference number is written above. It is essential that you
quote
this  number  whenever  you  correspond  with  this  office.  Please do
not
contact  any  of  our  overseas  Australian missions about this
application
unless advised to do so by this office. Your receipt will be sent to
you at
a later date.
Note that processing of your application is expected to take
approximately
50 weeks unless you are applying under subclass 137 (State Territory
Nominated Independent) or 139 (Designated Area Sponsored), or your
occupation is covered by the Minister's priority processing direction
(currently various nursing professionals).  If your occupation is
covered
by this Direction, processing is expected to be approximately 4-6
months,
subject to all requirements being met. Subclass 134 (Skill Matching)
applicants are assessed for inclusion on the skill matching database
upon
lodgement. So that applications can be assessed as quickly as possible,
you
should not make any unnecessary progress enquiries within this period.
Written and telephone enquiries can delay the processing of
applications,
including yours.  When your case officer has news or instructions for
you,
you will be contacted in writing immediately.
You must advise this office if you change address or if there is any
change
to your family membership (eg you marry, have a child or fall
pregnant).
Any further information that you provide should be in writing direct to
this office. Please be advised that once all necessary requirements
have
been assessed, this office will proceed to a decision on your
application.
If you are a Skill Matching visa applicant, or a Skilled-Independent
visa
applicant participating in the skill matching scheme, you must advise
the
Migration Program Section in Central Office of any change of contact
details so the Skill Matching Database can be updated. To do this, you
must
either send an email to [email protected]
or write to
Migration Program Section, PO Box 25, Belconnen ACT 2616. This is in
addition to the requirement that you notify the Adelaide Skilled
Processing
Centre of any changes to your contact details.
It  is  most important that you do not take any irreversible action
such as
selling  your  house, purchasing airline tickets or leaving your
employment
in anticipation of being granted a visa.
We will contact you again when your application is being considered
against
the legal requirements for grant of a visa for Australia.
You should be aware that if you have included any IELTS test results
with
your application, you will be required to arrange for the test centre
to
forward an official copy of these results direct to this office.  Any
further enquiries in relation to the IELTS test should be directed to
the
relevant IELTS test centre.
If  you  have  not  already done so, you may wish to forward to this
office
your name and address, written on labels in your own language or
script, to
assist in posting letters to you.
Thank you for your cooperation.
