本轮（2014年10月）NSW190申请将于10月22日10am开放，名额1000。令人惊讶的是，以下职业将暂停申请：

根据统计，2014年7月第一轮申请中，75%申请人的提名职业属于以上列表。
值得注意的是，新州政府正在制定新的担保机制(可能从2015年1月起实行)，以改变目前“先申先批”的模式。其核心是通过制订新的审批标准和机制，选取最合适的申请人，而不是最先递交申请者。
新城分析：
刚刚结束7月开放申请后，新城即指出目前申请190方式的不合理之处。相比较ＳＫＩＬＬＳＥＬＥＣＴ系统下的“择扰录取”，新州190的担保申请沦为了比赛“手快”、“运气好”的不合理竞争。新城预测新的担保申请机制可能以下两种：
1. 按职业的紧缺程度制订不同的标准。比如，会计可能引入更高的申请标准，如英语要求7分；或更高的移民分数
2.引入类似SkillsSelect-EOI的排序制度，按分数从队列由上往下“择优录取”。
