Full-time Senior Bricklayer Wanted

JINHUI INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENTS & TRADE PTY LTD (ABN 65 143 850 382) wasestablished in May 2010. We are a Sydney based construction and developmentcompany, offering construction services in terms of building designing,construction contracting, and real estate selling.
Withthe expansion of our business and in order to comply with the company’sdevelopment strategy, we would like to recruit a full-time SENIOR BRICKLAYER.
Duties and Responsibilities:·        Reading specifications and constructionplans to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures.·        Cutting and polishing bricks byoperating brick cutting machines and hand tools, and shaping bricks to fitirregular spaces.·        Build or refurbish veneer andfull brick construction, partitions, chimneys, arches and other structures.·        Maintaining and repairing claybricks, cement blocks and other types of building materials in mortar. ·        Spreading layers of mortar toserve as a base and binder for bricks in rows, designs or shapes; and spreadingmortar between joints.·        Designing and cuttingmonumental masonry and lettering, and checking vertical and horizontalalignment.·        Erecting and dismantlingrestricted height scaffolding.·        Managing and supervising the construction team andproviding training and guidance to junior worksite personnel when needed.
Qualification Requirements:·        At least ten years workingexperience as Bricklayer, Bricklaying Technician, Bricklayer Trainer orrelevant positions.·        At least Certificate III inBricklaying/Blocklaying or equivalent qualification in bricklaying.
Skill Requirements:·        Having a comprehensive understandingabout construction site administration, work health and safety regulations, andmachine operation.·        Mandarin speaking is a plus.·        Be creative, innovative, andself-motivated.·        Have a profound understandingof construction industry.·        A logical approach to problemsolving and an investigative and inquisitive mind.·        Outstanding organizational andtime management skills.·        Profound multi-tasks abilityand problem solving skills.·        Be able to handle multipleprojects under time pressure and tight deadlines.
