Position Description
Accounts Administrator/Experienced book keeper
Duties:
Administration of financial activities, and assistance with shipping documentation, for the company including:
· Accounts payable and receivable
· Bank reconciliation
· Foreign Exchange contracts & currency
· All aspects of Payroll including super and staff records
· BAS and GST
· P/L and Balance sheet
· Provision of financial reports on a monthly basis
· Maintain financial and office files and back ups.
· Banking, Mail & Post
· Letters of credit and associated documentation
· Liaise with external accountant re year end reporting, suppliers, banks, government agencies and any other stakeholders concerning company’s financial matters as required.
· Assist Manager: on financial matters, provide necessary information for decision making and implement their decisions. Provide administrative/clerical/secretarial assistance to The Manager as required.
· Review and develop company’s accounts systems and procedures (SOP’s)
Required Qualifications:
Experienced MYOB qualified and / or CPA.
Microsoft Office; in particular full Excel functions
Current Driver’s Licence
High proficiency - English and Mandarin; speaking and written
Up to date with reporting requirements to ATO, ASIC etc
Character:
Integrity / trust / loyalty
A clear communicator
Even temperament
Attention to detail, accuracy, timeliness (meet deadlines)
Proactive, able to work independently
Part time:
Approx: 2.5 to 3 days per week (may be half days)
Commence: Late May 2011
