Thanks to everybody. Yes, it is Core Duo and it does have two cores. And no, it is not Core 2 Duo, so it has no bells and whistles of Core 2 Duo. It's just a well-conditioned HP dv2000 laptop, fast enough in most cases but in a slightly older model. However, it is not a netbook, simply because it was not designed as a netbook by HP.

Anyway, buy it at your own risk and enjoy with your own business ;-)
