As same as you, I got a master in China. I did not get a scholarship when I applied PHD in China two years ago. Then, I applied to study Master degree at the University of Adelaide. After one year's study, I applied PHD. They gave me full scholarship (AGFS), i.e. full international tuition fees plus a full stipend of AUD20,427(tax free) per annum. That is enough to live in Adelaide.

The key points of scholarship are your supervisor and your research results. If your supervisor said he will give your scholarship, you may have in the future. If you think you can do excellent job and your supervisor will be happy with it, you may accept the offer. Ohterwise, you can never get scholarship. The scholarship is every compentitive!!!

还有二楼三楼的两位兄弟，阿大一年光学费就２Ｗ多，生活费加上怎么也得３Ｗ啊，每年才１Ｋ的奖学金的话你们真觉得很多了？我无语了．．．．

It is a new application form to apply master. PHD tuition fee is too expensive (about AUD11000) for me. I cannot study PHD without scholarship. My friend told me it was better to enter into the university and find a good supervisor. Then, it will be easy to apply scholarship. So, I give up PHD offer and select one year Master by course work. During this period, I know the tearching and research method in Australia. Also, it improved my English. It costs me about AUD35000 to study and live here last year. But I earned some money from my part time job.

It is my opinion, only for you reference.  Studying Master may waste your time and it does NOT ensure you will get scholarship. You should make a decision by yourself.
