We have secured somemajor funding from government and industry and will recruit 4 PhD students toapply in July 2016 or February 2017: PhD1: Manipulatingfoam and froth properties in fuel processingPhD2: Developing newpolymers for selective particle dispersion and flocculationPhD3: Engineeringthe surface properties by electrochemical reactionsPhD4: Engineeringthe surface properties by mechano activation Candidates having aMaster degree or to have one shortly from relevant disciplines with knowledgein chemistry, physics, polymers or surfactants are welcome to apply.International students have to meet the English requirement before theapplication (IELTS: Overall Band Score of 6.5 AND a minimum score of 6 in eachsub-band of writing, reading, speaking and listening; TOEFL(Internet-Based-iBT): Overall score of 87 with a writing score of 21 andreading, speaking and listening scores of 19). Candidates with Englishpublications will be required. Scholarships include a tax-free stipend of aboutAU$27,000-35,000 annually and a waived tuition fee.
