because no people met me in the airport,everything i should do for myself.I expect the following experiece may be helpful to those will come here later.
1.off plane and after passing immigrant checkpoint, you should change your money to take taxi.remember,only 100s$ is enough because in airport the change is more expensive than in university.
2.before taking taxi, you should ask the driver whether he know your address in NTU , a lot of driver did not familar with it because of the complicated road.
3.in sg, you just need to speak chinese when you go to supermarket,dining-room,etc. only when you go to meet your supervisor who know nothing about chinese,you have to say English. in sg,you just find you still in China,especially in shenzhen,china.
4.the first thing you should do is to register at once,so you can get your money early.
5.the person here i think is very polite.
6.if possible,you should take some novels with you. Because in the first week,you can do nothing but waiting for student ID. only you get it,you can have your e-mail address and own your computer.
