The Big Bang Theory's Mayim Bialik was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital after getting in a car accident on Wednesday, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

An LAPD spokesperson said that Bialik's car was struck in a Hollywood intersection by a vehicle filled with three passengers. The 36-year-old Emmy nominee was then taken to a nearby hospital for injuries, while the passengers from the other car had minor injuries.
洛杉矶警方的一位发言人表示Bialik是在好莱坞的一个十字路口被另一辆车撞了，当时对方车辆上还有3名乘客。之后这位36岁的艾美奖候选人被紧急送往附近医院救治，而对方车辆上的乘客受了轻伤。
"A representative close to her spoke with her and she is doing fine and will be returning to work tomorrow," a rep from Bialik's camp said in a statement. "She thanks everyone for their concern."

Though TMZ.com reported that the Blossom alum was in danger of losing her finger, Bialik took to Twitter to assure fans that she's OK. "(husband typing) In pain but will keep all my fingers," read a message on her Twitter account.

Sources close to The Big Bang Theory tell TVGuide.com that Bialik's accident is not expected to impact production.
