We search for full-time Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic right now.
Working on our large fleet of buses, you will be responsible for all aspects of bus maintenance, including scheduled and unscheduled servicing, as well as diagnosis, reporting and repair of vehicle faults. Also you need to assist workshop manager and fellow team members.
Skills and experience
Road side experience;
Relevant trade qualifications, with at least 5 years experience preferably within the bus industry;
Poses a current Australian State or Territory open driver's licence for Medium Rigid (MR) and Heavy Rigid (HR) classes of vehicles, or be willing and able to obtain one ASAP;
Problem solving and fault finding skills, including being able to follow electrical diagrams and workshop manuals.
The ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team; and Excellent communication skills.
