I am completely troubled with the whole mass waiting for the official acceptance letter from HKU. My supervisor wrote to me more than three weeks ago, telling that he had signed my application and my case had gone through all the procedures. The offical acceptance letter was expected soon.
Times goes on and after three fresh updates, I still cannot find anything offical for my application. My supervisor said it was OK and I believe him. But another way, I am afraid of being dumped by him. For him, I have given up my offer from UST; it turns out, waiting, waiting and endless waiting.
Is that possible that I am in my supervisor's waiting list? Or, really it is OK and only a matter of time and procedure?
Such kind of waiting is totally bull[***], especially I am prepared to study and has given up another very good choice.
