創业移民類签证已在三年半前正式取消了，现在並没有創业移民類的签证。在澳大利亚投资生意,一般来说，对移民並沒有帮助的。现在的移民法只有计分的个人移民和商业移民。计分的资料，可在移民局的网页找到。而投资移民只有132類和188類，资料亦可在移民局的网页容易找到。已前的投资25万元163州政府担保商业投资移民亦在两年前正式取消了。

买生意然后自雇担保是不靠谱的，其中主要的原因如下：-
1. 首先你要看你的学历认证和职业评估是否在移民局SOL职业列表里面。该列表每6个月会修改一次。
2. 如果你的职业评估和学历认证不在SOL 职业列表上，你是不可以以雇主担保的方式拿PR的。
3. 在没申请雇主担保前，你必须要考雅思，每一个职业类别的要求都不同，例如护士不可以低于4个7，牙医和药剂师不可以低于4个7.5，厨师不可以低于4个5，电子工程师不可以低于4个6等等。一般来说，最低的要求是4个5。没有雅思成绩的话，是不可以申请雇主职业担保的。
4. 任何生意若要符合雇主担保的条件，必须满足：
   （1）该生意必须经营不少于2年；
   （2）最近的2年内，年营业额不可以少于$20万澳币；
   （3）该生意必须聘用至少2个澳洲本地员工；
   （4）该生意2年内不可以亏损。
   （5）该生意有足够的利润聘请你作为全职员工，薪金不低于$65,000或澳洲移民局职业类别所指定的最低薪酬标准.
如果你购买了一个生意，但该生意你又还未经营2年以上，理论上该生意是不符合雇主担保的条件的。
在此希望各位同胞留意，通过购买并经营生意拿取澳洲永居身份的途径是不靠谱的。据保守估计，在过往一年内，通过购买生意的方式来申请雇主担保所失败的个案，在南澳州损失的资金超过六百万澳币以上，其中大部分都是学生和背包客被骗的。
