依据澳大利亚家事法例，分居是没有需要签署任何协议的。到时申请离婚的时候，法庭也不会要求你提供分居协议作为证据。
一般夫妻分居最主要是做一份夫妻资产负债分配协议书。详细列出有关夫妻资产负债是如何分配。这是一份比较复杂，和重要的文件。
根据现在的法律，必须由律师出示证明书，才有法律上的效力。
