We are looking for anexperienced and creative Social Media Specialist to join our team. As a SocialMedia Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing ourSocial Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve ourmarketing and sales efforts. You will be working closely with the Marketing andSales departments.
What you'll be expected to do:

  • Developing implement     and manage our social media strategy for the     overall social strategy.

  • Serve as the voice of your assigned brands by overseeing our social     communities including responding to audience comments, questions and requests     through Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
  • Track and monitor all published content     and share insights to enhance social performance.
  • Collaborate with content     creators/influencers in developing social content that is on brand and     meaningful to customer.
  • Serve as the primary point person for     social publishing
  • Activate paid social media campaigns in     accordance with brands’ digital marketing strategies
  • Actively monitor conversation trends for     your assigned brands and keep the team up to date on any changes in     volume/sentiment
  • Work with the marketing team member on     ensuring data reporting accuracy in our regular monthly reports
  • Stay up to date on the latest social     trends/updates affecting the channels and platforms
  • Provide     constructive feedback
What we're expectingto qualify for this role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing,     Communications, Technology, or related field.
  • One year experience or internship     experience at social media marketing (preferred but not required)
Plus some workingknowledge of:

  • AU digital marketing platforms and technologies
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter,     LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best     practices
  • Digital media planning parameters and measurement criteria
  • Copywriting for digital platforms (i.e. Facebook, Twitter)
  • Image production (i.e. PhotoShop/photo shooting )
  • Understanding of SEO and web     traffic metrics
  • Excellent multitasking skills

  • Oral and written communications and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent math skills and attention to detail
  • Independent priority-setting
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to convert analysis     into insights and actionable plans.
  • Ability to sort through complex data to identify core issues and     develop action plans to achieve them
